Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and sustain mission-critical systems supporting operational workloads.
- Maintain compliance with NIST cybersecurity policies, Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements, and operational security standards while supporting reliable and resilient system operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience administering enterprise or mission-critical computing systems.
- Experience with virtualization platforms and hyperconverged infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration.
- Experience implementing cybersecurity controls and patch management processes.
- Familiarity with NIST 800-series cybersecurity standards.
- Experience supporting Secure Computing Environments (SCE).
- Experience with RMF and security compliance requirements.
- Experience with system monitoring and logging tools
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with platforms such as Nutanix, VMware vSAN, or similar technologies.
- Certified Security+ or higher
- Experience with Linux+ or RHCSA
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP)
