About the role
We are seeking passionate and innovative professionals to join our cutting-edge team dedicated to maintaining the Army’s capability advantage to perform advanced cyber-focused R&D and software development.
Responsibilities
- Lead Windows administration to define and manage the Windows domain supporting cyber R&D activities.
- Design and implement improvements to hardware and software architecture and configurations.
- Create and modify scripts used for system administration.
- Maintain and provide lifecycle support for deployed systems, including troubleshooting issues, updating hardware and software baselines, assisting with configuration control, and maintaining a reliable inventory.
- Perform work on Windows systems, including imaging and management for both physical and virtual operating systems such as provisioning, configuration, patch and update management, and secure baseline management using SCAP tools and STIGs.
- Help customers overcome challenges by recommending improvements to existing components or processes, creating and maintaining documentation, and supporting the configuration management processes.
- Provide your customers insight into the network through monitoring and performance management.
- Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement and communicate those needs with the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with systems administration in both Windows Server and Linux, including Redhat and Ubuntu
- 3+ years of experience with network administration with routers, switches, and firewalls
- 1+ years of experience with virtual server management using VMWare, Hyper-V, or Kubernetes
- 1+ years of experience with desktop support
Qualifications
- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- DoD 8140 Certification
Skills
- Experience with patch management and vulnerability scans
- Experience with system imaging
- Experience working in an air-gapped environment
- Experience performing vulnerability management, STIG application, and POAM resolution

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
