System Administrator 2

About the role

Amentum is seeking a System Administrator 2 to provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Senior Tier level ticket support for one of the PKI Tool
• Providing troubleshooting support for end users having issues with various PKI tools
• Testing new PKI tool releases
• Testing new compliance guidance per the functionality of the PKI tools
• Basic understanding of Window desktop tools and Linux command line functions
• Reviewing and updating documentation and SOPs
• Understanding of using a ticketing system and navigating confluence pages

Requirements

• Clearance Required: TS/SCI Poly
• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, five (5) additional years of work-related experience may be substituted for a total of twelve (15) years.
• Minimum Years of Experience: Ten (10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Required Certifications: Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAT Level II is required.

$150,000 - $180,000
