About the role
This position is a standardized overnight/off-hours shift. You will conduct end-to-end hardware installation and troubleshooting with supervision, support cabling validation, and problem-solve to establish error-free connections. The role involves monitoring, reviewing, and analyzing ticket queues to address basic incidents and escalate complex issues, as well as attending training to bridge skill gaps and learn new technologies. You will begin to serve as a technical liaison for teams to identify and resolve resiliency, reliability, and availability risks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end on-site hardware installation, removal, and troubleshooting without disturbing critical infrastructure, under supervision.
- Replace server components and perform server upgrades for existing customers, with close supervision.
- Monitor, review, and analyze ticket queues, system logs, and console alarm error messaging in assigned environments to address basic incidents and escalate unresolved or complex issues to senior technicians.
- Implement technical solutions to enhance or troubleshoot systems within Service Level Agreements (SLAs), escalating issues that impact environment maintenance with guidance.
- Follow all established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Maintenance Operation Protocols (MOPs) to ensure compliance with site rules, colocation vendor requirements, and data center site regulations.
- Adhere to implemented security controls and ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment and site-specific compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Certain U.S.-based or U.S. customer/client-facing roles may require compliance with immunization, occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing.
Pay
Hiring range in USD: $25.82 - $50.43 per hour, or $53,700 - $104,900 per year. May be eligible for equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations.
