About the role
The successful applicant will provide coverage and support to the Switchboard team in the Team Leader’s absence, while also providing coverage and support for all planned and unplanned leave across allocated 24-hour service shifts.
Responsibilities
- Handle telephone calls from external and internal customers, ensuring all calls are answered in a timely manner.
- Update changes to medical staff rosters.
- Deal with emergency calls promptly.
Requirements
- A Higher School Certificate/Victorian Certificate of Education
- Previous clerical and switchboard experience, preferably in a hospital environment
- Highly developed organisational, communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills

Pay
Full Time, 80 hours per fortnight with ADO
Schedule
Leave coverage - weekdays, weekends, overnight, Public Holidays & Team Leader
