Responsibilities
- Operates the call attendant Cisco Phone system (switchboard)
- Maintains and monitors all alarms in the Communications area, and uses various paging systems to page/notify physicians and staff members
- Answers and handles emergency telephone calls
- Utilizes and updates the online MHG and physician call schedule as needed
- Processes and delivers all forms and central copy jobs, as needed for departments
- Performs central copy and mailroom functions
- Delivers mail, test results, medical records and informational data to all departments
- Delivers and exchanges patient telephones and other communication equipment as needed for departments
- Assists with various communication and other department projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to operate a switchboard and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of communication systems and procedures

Pay
The salary range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00 per hour.
Schedule
The shift schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
