About the role
We are seeking individuals, aged 15+, passionate about teaching children to swim. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop important life skills while supporting a safe and successful pool season.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe environment for learning to swim
- Encourage and support students to enjoy their aquatics experience
- Evaluate swimming skills and complete progress reports for each session
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- Age 15+
- Experience with children
- Passionate about teaching children to swim
- Pass American Red Cross CPR Certification
- Pass an in-water skills assessment
