About the role

The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking individuals, aged 15+, passionate about teaching children to swim and eager to develop important life skills such as communication, leadership, and responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment for learning to swim
• Evaluate swimming skills and complete progress reports for each session
• Communicate with parents regarding their child’s progress
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Requirements

• Age 15+
• Experience working with children
• Pass American Red Cross CPR certification
• Pass an in-water skills assessment

What is needed for this job as our Swim Instructor (Or Instructor Aide)?

• Age 15+
