Swim Instructor / Team Member

About the role

At Big Blue Swim School, we're creating big moments for families across Michigan at our Sterling Heights location and we're looking for energetic, positive team members to join our state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on with young swimmers, helping them build confidence, learn proper swimming techniques, and develop essential water safety skills.
• Teach lessons in a warm, welcoming pool while creating a fun, encouraging environment filled with high-fives, smiles, and splashes.
• Lead small group lessons, provide positive reinforcement, and help each child progress at their own pace.
• Communicate with families about swimmer progress and be supported every step of the way through ongoing training and a collaborative, upbeat team.
• No prior swim teaching experience is required, we'll teach you everything you need to succeed.

Qualifications

• Loves teaching kids and helping them grow.
• Must be available to work weeknights and one weekend day.
• Able to lift up to 30lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Previous swimming experience not required.
