About the role

Southwestern Illinois College is seeking applications for several full-time positions including Accountant II, Assistant Director of Finance, and Full-Time Industrial Electrical Technology Faculty.

Responsibilities

• Accountant II: Perform financial analysis, prepare reports, and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Assistant Director of Finance: Oversee financial operations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Full-Time Industrial Electrical Technology Faculty: Teach courses in industrial electrical technology, maintain equipment, and provide technical support.

Requirements

• Accountant II: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Assistant Director of Finance: Master's degree in Business Administration or related field, with 5+ years of finance management experience.
• Full-Time Industrial Electrical Technology Faculty: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with 2+ years of industry experience.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
• Experience with budgeting and financial planning.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and technologies.
