Good Shepherd Manor is a non-profit residential facility for 105 men with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

About the role

We are seeking compassionate, caring men and women to join our team. Located 45 minutes south of Chicago, our picturesque 60-acre campus includes 13 modern group homes in the historic town of Momence, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support and care to residents
• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming
• Facilitate social activities and community engagement
• Support medication management and health routines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within living spaces

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

• Pass a physical examination

Pay

Salary range: $18 - $22 per hour

Schedule

Shifts vary from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM, or 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM, with flexibility to accommodate resident needs.
