SWF - LANDSIDE SUPERVISOR

About the role

The position oversees, coordinates, and maintains the full operations of an airport terminal and an in-house administered custodial and parking operation, adhering to Port Authority of NY and NJ, and Future Stewart Partners LLC guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise custodial and parking operations
• Assist in the oversight of the terminal SUPPS System
• Assist in the oversight of the FIS APC System
• Aid in securing materials and supplies within budget
• Hire, train, supervise, counsel, schedule, and evaluate custodial and parking staff
• Contribute to a comprehensive preventative maintenance program
• Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs with follow-up on assigned tasks
• Manage airport employee parking program
• Oversee tenant parking programs
• Participate in snow removal operations
• Engage in Total Quality Management programs

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business or Airport Administration or commensurate work experience
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Customer service experience required
• Clear communication skills, preferably in Spanish
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Valid NYS driver’s license and ability to qualify for a SIDA badge with CBP endorsement

Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions and noise levels that can vary from minimal to moderate.
