SWCC Communications Instructor

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced communication instruction related to current and emerging communication and navigation technology.
• Aid in schedule development, curriculum management, and logistical planning.
• Offer instruction related to current/emerging Blue Force Trackers (BFT). Utilize crypto management and apply it to advanced communications technology.
• Support liaison activities and assist with integrating emerging communications technologies.
• Manage curriculum and provide instruction for current and emerging communications and navigation technologies.

Qualifications

• Must have at least five years of relevant experience within the past ten years as a Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewman (SWCC).
• Must hold a SWCC Senior qualification, achieved according to COMNAVSPECWARGRUFOURINST 3120.3E.
• The SWCC Senior qualification must not have been removed due to administrative or disciplinary reasons.
• At least five years of experience as a NAVY/NSW Instructor.
• Instructors will support or augment active-duty training cadre with subject matter expertise, echelon IV level combat systems integration efforts, scheduling/planning, classroom instruction, practical field training, final training exercises, troop movements, consumable supply management, and performance as opposing forces (OP4), as needed.
