Communications Capabilities Instructor

About the role

Provide advanced communication instruction related to current and emerging communication and navigation technology for Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen (SWCC).

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction on current and emerging Blue Force Trackers (BFT) and advanced communications technology.
• Utilize crypto management and apply it to advanced communications systems.
• Assist with schedule development, curriculum management, and logistical planning.
• Support liaison efforts with other Communication entities to identify and integrate emerging communications technologies.
• Manage curriculum and provide instruction for current and emerging communications and navigation technologies.
• Augment active-duty training cadre with subject matter expertise in echelon IV level combat systems integration efforts.
• Support scheduling, planning, classroom instruction, practical field training, final training exercises, troop movements, and consumable supply management.
• Perform as opposing forces (OP4) as necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years’ experience within the last ten years as a Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewman (SWCC).
• Achievement of SWCC Senior qualification in accordance with COMNAVSPECWARGRUFOURINST 3120.3E (must not have been removed for administrative or disciplinary reasons).
• Five years’ experience as a NAVY/NSW Instructor.

Location: Virginia Beach, VA. Secret clearance required.
