About the role
The Senior Vice President, Talent (SVP, Talent) at MiQ will provide leadership and direction for human resources management across the Americas region, fostering a high-performance culture and optimizing performance to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead regional HR partnership and organizational development for teams in North America, LatAm, and EMEA.
- Serve as a trusted adviser to senior leadership on matters related to people, culture, and performance, promoting the adoption of global frameworks while honoring local nuances.
- Champion a high-performance culture through effective performance management practices, including goal setting, evaluations, feedback, coaching, and development planning.
- Collaborate closely with the Global SVP of Talent Systems to ensure consistency and alignment of HR practices, processes, and frameworks with MiQ’s global standards, adapting best practices for regional relevance and legal compliance.
- Create, localize, and deliver innovative offerings, as well as standardized employee engagement, inclusion, retention, and wellbeing programs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies across the Americas.
- Oversee the implementation of region-specific programs and policies, working in tandem with HR teams to champion continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Lead change management and organizational transformation initiatives in partnership with global stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of unity, courage, and inclusion, championing MiQ’s core values in every local context.
- Represent the region and MiQ externally, promoting our employer brand and driving talent attraction.
- Operate with autonomy to proactively identify and solve regional challenges, while maintaining strong collaboration and partnership within the global HR team.
Requirements
Extensive HR leadership experience (typically 8+ years) including region-wide oversight of teams/projects spanning timezones. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing HR teams across multiple regions. Baseline knowledge of HR practices and employment laws in locations/countries in LatAm, Canada, and the US. Ability to balance independent decision-making with collaborative stakeholder engagement, leveraging strong change management and organizational development skills. Proficiency in using HR systems, tools, and platforms for distributed workforces. Workday experience preferred. Strategic thinking paired with hands-on operational execution and a consultative partnership approach. Inclusive mindset with strong intercultural competence and communication skills. Flexibility to travel regionally and collaborate effectively across geographies. A can-do attitude, with a dream to grow alongside us.

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $200,000- $250,000.
