Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all RCM functions, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Coding & Insurance, Customer Service, Payment Operations, Insurance Verification, Credentialing, Refunds, and Financial Assistance Programs.
  • Design and implement scalable RCM strategies, policies, and standardized workflows across a multi-site, high-growth dental platform.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, IT, and Analytics to align RCM initiatives with broader organizational goals and performance metrics.
  • Establish and continuously refine KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to drive visibility into performance, including AR, DSO, Net Collection Rate, and denial trends.
  • Lead enterprise-wide denial management strategy, leveraging analytics to identify root causes and implement corrective actions that reduce payer rejections and improve reimbursement outcomes.
  • Oversee AR valuation and collectability strategies, ensuring optimal cash performance and maintaining industry-leading benchmarks.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, with full P&L accountability for the RCM function.
  • Build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams, while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure full compliance with HIPAA and all applicable federal and state billing regulations.
  • Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to strategic growth initiatives, integrations, and operational scalability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s in Healthcare Administration strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare RCM, with deep expertise across the full revenue cycle.
  • Proven success in multi-site healthcare environments, ideally within dental service organizations (DSOs), physician groups, or health systems.
  • Strong financial acumen, with demonstrated experience managing budgets and owning P&L performance.
  • Track record of leveraging data and analytics to drive measurable improvements in revenue cycle outcomes.
  • Experience leading large, distributed teams and third-party vendor relationships.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
