AVP - Revenue Cycle

About the role

The AVP will lead and oversee patient access and billing services across the St. Tammany Health System. They will focus on improving the healthcare revenue cycle, enhancing processes, customer access, and cash collections.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and implement processes to reduce denials and improve access.
• Develop and manage innovative financial assistance programs.
• Utilize digital technology and automation to transform the revenue cycle.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to address complex, multi-faceted problems.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant healthcare experience in the Revenue Cycle, specifically in Patient Access.
• Minimum of 5 years of management/supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree in Health Services Administration or Business Administration preferred.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience with EPIC.
• Ability to establish and build strong relationships with providers, staff, team members, and partner subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Advanced critical thinking, logic, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must possess good physical health.
• Some physical demands include standing, sitting, or walking for long periods of time.
• Lifting up to 10 pounds is required.
