About the role
The SVP, National Account Manager role operates at a local level within CFS and works closely with the Sales team. The role also collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams and Shared Services, including Operations and CCS, to successfully execute proxy campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Lead the successful management and execution of proxy projects, ensuring delivery within required timelines and projected costs.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Strategy teams to support the development of sales estimates, financial analysis, and proposals.
- Participate in sales presentations and support new business development initiatives.
- Partner with Sales to manage and strengthen client relationships, supporting business unit financial objectives and driving client retention for future proxy engagements.
- Cook up with CCS, Operations, and Virtual Meeting teams to meet client expectations and proxy voting requirements.
- Support initiatives focused on improving operational efficiencies and maintaining competitiveness within the proxy services industry.
- Proactively escalate issues related to client satisfaction, variances to expected costs, or project risks to Senior Management and the Sales team as appropriate.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and senior client leadership.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to support complex proxy project execution and financial review.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Ability to understand the business and accurately represent services when responding to client inquiries.
- Capability to manage multiple, complex proxy campaigns while maintaining compliance with timelines, cost expectations, and quality standards.
- Ability to lead proxy campaign execution by instructing and coordinating cross-functional teams, despite not having direct people management responsibilities.
- Willingness and ability to support the training and development of other team members as required.
- Capacity to interact confidently with senior client leadership while also managing detailed project execution activities.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and shared services to achieve project and business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Eight to ten years of professional experience, preferably in a client-facing role within the securities industry.
- Experience with proxy services is preferred but not required.

Pay
The typical base pay range for this role is $130,000 - $190,000 annually.

This is a remote role, located in New York.
