Sustainability Intern - Towson University - Towson University Admin
Job Responsibilities
- Implement and assist in the development of Tiger Hospitality sustainability campaigns such as Campus Sustainability Month, Earth Day, Coolfood Meals, and more.
- Be a liaison with student sustainability groups and departments on campus.
- Manage and maintain hydroponic mini farms including planting, harvesting, basic upkeep.
- Play an active role in promoting, training, and tracking recycling and composting efforts in production areas/kitchens.
- Assist in gathering and analyzing data for periodic reports, presentations and surveys.
- Complete any task requested by a supervisor or member of the Tiger Hospitality management team.
Qualifications
- Must be a current Towson University student.
- Must have mid-day availability.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal directions.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to walk and stand for up to 4 hours.

This role provides an opportunity for a student to gain industry experience and practical understanding of a variety of sustainability issues related to food service systems. Compensation and Benefits
COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $15.00 to $15.00.
