Responsibilities
- Prepare specialty food items in accordance to kitchen needs.
- Perform various job duties that will include operation of grill, fryer, broiler, oven and French top in accordance with kitchen needs.
- Perform preliminary preparation work in a timely manner.
- Ensure ingredient supply levels are accurate.
- Maintain the required par of food items in their assigned station from support areas throughout the property.
- Move items from shelves to carts and transport to assigned stations for restocking purposes.
- Maintain cleanliness and free of debris in all areas assigned.
- Assist with any other job-related duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
- Minimum of at least 4 years Cantonese Chinese cooking experience.
- Ability to communicate in the Chinese (Cantonese) language.
- Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time.
- A neat appearance with good personal hygiene.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift, pull, or push 25 lbs.
- Must be able to twist, bend, or reach with no significant boundaries.
- This position may be exposed to a smoke-filled environment.
