Responsibilities
- Teach all aspects of properties of construction materials and related testing procedures for technicians.
- Teach all aspects of CAD software as applied to residential and commercial buildings.
- Both broad content areas involve classroom and laboratory instruction.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
- May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
- Ability to use instructional technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills.
- Successful completion and passing of a criminal background check is required.
- Work experience in the use of Surveying equipment, distance measurement, traversing, area computations, topographic map analysis, earthwork and other related topics.
- Knowledge in basics of applied hydraulics, drainage and water resource technology preferred.
- Must be able to run labs with surveying equipment.
- Operation of a State Vehicle.
Benefits
Pay range: $793-$1,693 per credit hour.
