Responsibilities

  • Teach all aspects of properties of construction materials and related testing procedures for technicians.
  • Teach all aspects of CAD software as applied to residential and commercial buildings.
  • Both broad content areas involve classroom and laboratory instruction.
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
  • May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
  • Ability to use instructional technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills.
  • Successful completion and passing of a criminal background check is required.
  • Work experience in the use of Surveying equipment, distance measurement, traversing, area computations, topographic map analysis, earthwork and other related topics.
  • Knowledge in basics of applied hydraulics, drainage and water resource technology preferred.
  • Must be able to run labs with surveying equipment.
  • Operation of a State Vehicle.

Benefits

Pay range: $793-$1,693 per credit hour.
