About the role
Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Survey Manager (PLS) to join our Survey team in our Ramsey office. This is a fantastic chance to work with a talented team of professionals and make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
Responsibilities
- Apply sound survey principles in planning, evaluating, and completing survey projects.
- Review and approve field measurements and direct and assist with preparation of survey documents.
- Conduct, and direct field surveys as required by scheduling or for professional supervisory and quality control purposes.
- Manage multiple survey projects and personnel.
- Work on a mix of 50% boundary surveying for private clients and 50% survey support of internal clients associated with municipal engineering projects.
- Perform tasks such as boundary surveys, ALTA Surveys, Right of Way Plats, CIC Plats, preparation of easements, topographic surveys, construction staking, and management of private survey clients.
- Use state-of-the-art robotic and GPS equipment in the field.
Requirements
- MN Professional Land Surveyor license or ability to obtain within 6 months with a license from another state.
- Minimum of 5 years of survey experience.
- Good management and leadership skills (operating with a sense of urgency, managing conflict, exercising tact and patience, providing constructive feedback).
- Working knowledge and skills in CAD and survey software (AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation).
- Valid driver's license and insurable at the Firm's standard rates.

Pay
$75,000 - $140,000 depending on years of experience and credentials.
