Survey Manager (PLS)

Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Survey Manager (PLS) to join our Survey team in our Myrtle Beach office. This role offers the chance to work with a talented team of professionals and make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Apply sound survey principles in planning, evaluating, and completing survey projects.
• Review and approve field measurements and direct and assist with preparation of survey documents.
• Conduct, and direct field surveys as required by scheduling or for professional supervisory and quality control purposes.
• Manage and coordinate multiple survey projects and personnel.
• Work with a mix of 50% boundary surveying for private clients and 50% survey support of internal clients associated with municipal engineering projects.
• Manage private survey clients and ensure the successful completion of projects.

Requirements

• South Carolina Professional Land Surveyor license or ability to attain within 6 months with license from another state.
• Minimum of 5 years of survey experience.
• Good management and leadership skills (operating with a sense of urgency, managing conflict, exercising tact and patience, providing constructive feedback).
• Working knowledge and skills in CAD and survey software (AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation).
• Valid driver's license and insurable at the Firm's standard rates.

• Ability to travel as needed.
