Survey Field Technician
Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is a national multi-disciplined surveying and engineering firm seeking a full-time Survey Field Technician to assist the Crew Chief in collecting field data and preparing it for CADD Operators.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Crew Chief in collecting information from the field.
- Prepare field data for CADD Operators in the office.
- Perform essential duties of the position with great communication and mathematical skills.
Requirements
- One year of surveying field experience.
- Ability to communicate and express ideas clearly.
- Consistent work effort and dependability.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to plan, organize, and take initiative.
- Willingness to commit to deadlines.
- Ability to walk across uneven terrain.
- Ability to work outside for extended periods and handle exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to travel.
- Valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
Desired experience includes:
- PLSS boundaries.
- ALTA surveys.
- Topographic surveys.
- As-built surveys.
- Railroad as-builts and construction.
- Utility pipeline as-builts and construction.
- Construction layout.
- Experience with Trimble equipment is a plus.

Pay
Annual Salary Range: $46,000 - $60,000
