Responsibilities
- The clandestine monitoring of slot machines, cashiers' cage, satellite cages, automated bill breakers, gaming voucher and coupon redemption machines, jackpot payout machines, and automated teller machines.
- The count processes conducted in the count room.
- The movement of cash and slot cash storage boxes.
- The entrances and exits, and the gaming floor and count room.
- The operation of table games, including satellite cages and Poker rooms.
- The storage areas for chips, plaques, cards, dice, Sic Bo shakers, and Pai Gow tiles.
- The video recording of movements of table games boxes.
- The records of questionable activity for review and potential use as evidence.
- The preparation of daily logs and complete incident reports.
- The patrol of the facility using pan, tilt, and zoom cameras.
- The maintenance of compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- The preservation of proper security and chain of custody for all departmental evidence.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous Security or Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
- Basic computer and typing skills.
- The ability to learn work-related computer programs.
- The ability to read, write, and speak English.
- The ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies.
- The ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
- The ability to write reports.
- The ability to perform basic math skills.
- The ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions.
- The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
- The ability to interpret a variety of instructions (written, oral, etc.).
- A license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meeting any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
Qualifications
- Sitting 90% of the time.
- Standing 10% of the time.
- Lifting/moving up to 20 lbs.
- Excellent hand/eye coordination to operate camera switcher controls.
