About the role
Our team of award-winning nurses is growing, and we are looking for talented, compassionate RNs to join our Surgical Unit as a Clinical Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily clinical activities and workflow within the department.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize care delivery.
- Actively promote customer satisfaction as well as a positive work environment.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care activities considering growth and development factors appropriate to the age (Adults, Geriatrics) in collaboration with the Nurse Manager.
- Report any significant changes in the condition of the Unit, any incidents, and/or personnel problems.
- Monitor quality, safety, and patient satisfaction indicators and support performance improvement initiatives.
- Participate in incident review, risk reduction, and patient safety activities.
- Support department leadership with audits, reporting, and operational projects.
- Maintain knowledge of and responsibility for Nursing Quality Improvement activities on assigned shift.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure safe patient care.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for staff.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in the United States; BSN preferred.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in specialty.
- BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
Pay
Salary Range: $47.28 - $75.64 USD per hour. Competitive base rates are determined by job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. Some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials. The salary range listed reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
