About the role

Our team of award-winning nurses is growing, and we are looking for talented, compassionate RNs to join our Surgical Unit as a Clinical Coordinator.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily clinical activities and workflow within the department.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize care delivery.
  • Actively promote customer satisfaction as well as a positive work environment.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care activities considering growth and development factors appropriate to the age (Adults, Geriatrics) in collaboration with the Nurse Manager.
  • Report any significant changes in the condition of the Unit, any incidents, and/or personnel problems.
  • Monitor quality, safety, and patient satisfaction indicators and support performance improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in incident review, risk reduction, and patient safety activities.
  • Support department leadership with audits, reporting, and operational projects.
  • Maintain knowledge of and responsibility for Nursing Quality Improvement activities on assigned shift.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure safe patient care.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for staff.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in the United States; BSN preferred.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in specialty.
  • BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.

Pay

Salary Range: $47.28 - $75.64 USD per hour. Competitive base rates are determined by job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. Some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials. The salary range listed reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
