Surgical Technologist III
Job Summary and Qualifications
The Surgical Technician III will assist during surgical procedures, demonstrating expertise in aseptic techniques and equipment setup.
Position Requirements
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current AHA or ARC BLS Certification, State of Colorado Surgical Registry required (DORA); Current CST Certification from NBSTSA preferred.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited program for Operating Room Technicians preferred.
- Experience: 3 or more years of experience as a Surgery Technician preferred.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Advanced knowledge in the scrub role, proficient in multiple service lines/specialties, good organizational skills, positive communication, ability to handle medications, syringes, needles, and oversee them under RN supervision.
Degree of Supervision Required
Under supervision of RN, CNC.
Orientation Period
Minimum of 2 weeks contingent upon experience. Extensive orientation may be required and will be determined by Department Director.
