Surgical Technologist - Full Time - Days

About the Role

The Surgical Technologist supports surgical procedures in the Operating Room by preparing and maintaining instruments, supporting the surgical team, and ensuring sterile technique while maintaining patient confidentiality and rights.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons by anticipating needs, preparing instruments, and maintaining sterile fields
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment, ensure aseptic techniques, and handle contaminated supplies appropriately
• Prepare operating rooms, facilitate efficient room turnover, and restock supplies
• Communicate effectively with team members, report issues, and adapt to workflow changes
• Support surgical procedures with knowledge, efficiency, and courtesy
• Maintain sterile environment, organize instruments, and support team communication
• Ensure equipment safety, room readiness, and compliance with standards
• Adapt to team needs, report issues promptly, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; Surgical Technologist certification preferred
• Experience in surgical technology or operating room setting required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to read, write, speak English, and perform essential job functions safely
