About the role
Join as a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room, supporting surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons with sterile techniques and anticipate their needs
- Participate in room setup, sterile preps, and post-procedure cleanup
- Monitor equipment, troubleshoot issues, and manage contaminated supplies
- Communicate effectively with team members and report emergencies or equipment problems
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; surgical technology experience essential
- Surgical Technologist certification preferred; BLS certification required
- Ability to read, speak, and write in English; adaptable to changing workloads
