Responsibilities

• Preparing, organizing, and maintaining surgical instruments and equipment
• Assisting surgeons by anticipating their needs and supporting sterile techniques
• Ensuring aseptic conditions and managing contaminated supplies appropriately
• Preparing operating rooms for procedures and ensuring efficient room turnover
• Communicating effectively with team members and recognizing emergency situations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Surgical technology experience required for non-certified applicants
• Preferred certification in Surgical Technology
• BLS certification required
• Ability to read, write, speak English fluently and perform essential job functions safely
