Surgical Technologist - Day Shift - Cardiac Call Team

About the role

Surgical Technologist position available at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Works 36 hours weekly on 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and 10:00 am to 6:30 pm shifts.
• On-call requirements include weekdays after 6:30 pm and 24-hour on-call over the weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
• Rotates among members of the cardiac core team.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month of hire.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education Qualifications: Graduate of accredited Surgical Technologist program.

Skills

Functions under the supervision of an RN in providing technical interventions in the Operating Room to patients of all ages. Tasks include instrumentation, equipment, prosthesis, and supplies management. Other duties as assigned by the department.
