Surgical Technologist (CST) - OR General Surgery

About the role

Surgical Technologist will facilitate the surgical care maintaining an aseptic environment. S/He will insure that all required instrumentation, supplies and equipment are readily available. In addition, will assist with room turnover between scheduled cases.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an aseptic environment during surgical procedures
• Ensure availability of required instrumentation, supplies, and equipment
• Assist with room turnover between scheduled cases

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program
• CST certification
• Critical thinking skills
• Able to work in a stressful environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of surgical tech or OR work experience
• Previous Surgical Technologist Experience
• Preferred manual dexterity
