Surgical Technologist
Day to day
As a Full-Time Surgical Technologist at Southwest Health System, Inc. in Cortez, Colorado, you will be at the heart of our surgical team, providing essential support before, during, and after surgical procedures. Under direct supervision, your role will involve ensuring the operating room is prepared with the necessary instruments and equipment, demonstrating your expertise in maintenance and organization. You'll have the thrilling chance to collaborate closely with surgeons and nurses, assisting in delivering exceptional patient care. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong experience with minimally invasive, general surgery, ENT, orthopedics, vascular, and podiatric specialties including video orthopedic and all other needed equipment to do the above surgeries
- 2 years operating room experience preferred
- BLS Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
- Current state Surgical Technologist Licensure within state of Colorado
- Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Excellent customer service skills
