Surgical Technologist

Certified Surgical Technologist II supports complex surgical procedures by maintaining sterile fields and preparing the operating room to ensure safe, efficient patient care. Key Duties Prepare and maintain aseptic/sterile fields throughout surgical procedures.Manage, organize, and pass instruments and equipment; anticipate surgeon and team needs.Support safe surgical workflow while adhering to established infection control standards.Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in an academic clinical setting.Assist with training and mentoring junior surgical staff as needed. Qualifications & Skills Certification as a Surgical Technologist (Certified Surgical Technologist II level).Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative infection prevention.Ability to work effectively in high-acuity operating room environments.Excellent teamwork, communication, and professionalism.Commitment to continuous professional development and clinical excellence.
