Surgical Technologist

Surgical Technologist III (Ophthalmology) Support ophthalmic surgeons with advanced mobile cataract and refractive procedures in a field-based role. Travel to partner facilities, prepare and operate specialized ophthalmic equipment, and maintain a sterile field throughout each case. Assist surgeons before, during, and after procedures by performing pre-op checks, basic troubleshooting, and ensuring accurate setup and readiness of instruments and equipment. Key Duties Set up, operate, and manage specialized ophthalmic surgical equipmentMaintain strict sterile technique and assist with surgical field preparationPerform pre-operative verification/checks and basic equipment troubleshootingAdhere to safety protocols, infection control standards, and quality practicesProvide reliable, service-focused support within a collaborative clinical team Qualifications & Skills Strong surgical technologist experience with ophthalmic proceduresProficiency in sterile technique and infection prevention practicesAbility to operate specialized ophthalmic equipment and support surgeons in real timeAttention to detail, safety-minded mindset, and effective teamworkComfort traveling to facilities and adapting setup to clinical environments
