Surgical Technologist

Role: Surgical Technologist Responsibilities Assist surgeons during operative/invasive procedures, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient preparation.Set up sterile fields, instruments, equipment, and supplies; organize back tables and mayo stands.Scrub on a variety of procedures across multiple specialties, adapting to surgeon preferences and techniques.Anticipate intraoperative needs, respond to unexpected events, and perform case closing activities.Mentor and precept staff and students, promoting best practices and high performance.Communicate effectively with team members, share knowledge, and support unit operations.Participate in quality improvement efforts and maintain compliance with safety standards.Be available for on-call hours outside scheduled shifts, responding promptly as needed. Qualifications & Skills Associate’s degree or Surgical Technology certification; BLS certification within 30 days.Accepts new graduates; demonstrates confidence, competence, critical thinking, and adaptability.Strong communication, teamwork, and mentoring abilities.
