Surgical Technician - Outpatient Surgery Center Full Time Day
This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts at Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA. About the role
As a member of the surgical team, you will maintain the operating room sterile field under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse Circulator. Responsibilities include passing instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery, ensuring proper aseptic technique to prevent contamination and infection, and assisting the registered nurse with circulating duties.

Requirements
- Graduate of a program accredited by the Association of Surgical Technicians.
- National Certified Surgical Technologist certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (upon hire).
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).
- Experience with proficient scrubbing in one or more of the following: Complex Spine, Total Joints, Open Hearts (chest), and the Eye Service.
Qualifications
- 2 years of recent operating room experience (preferred).

Pay
The pay range for this position is $34.58 - $52.89 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
