Surgical Technician - Full Time Day

Role Overview We are seeking a Surgical Technician to perform technical duties in the operating room, including preparing rooms, assisting surgeons during procedures, maintaining aseptic techniques, and cleaning between surgeries. The role involves active coverage and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure smooth operative processes. Responsibilities Assist in preparing and setting up operating rooms for surgery.Provide active assistance during surgical procedures within scope of practice.Maintain aseptic technique and cleanliness of the operating environment.Support the surgical team during operations and cover for breaks as needed.Assist in room turnover and equipment setup. Qualifications & Skills Certified Surgical Technologist credential upon hire.Current BLS certification.California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire.At least 2 years of scrub experience in a specialized area such as cardiovascular or orthopedics. Key Attributes Strong technical skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.Knowledge of aseptic techniques and operating room protocols.Effective team collaboration and communication skills.Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
