Surgical Tech Intern

About the role

The Surgical Tech Student Intern is a temporary role designed for surgical technology students to gain hands-on experience in surgical environments. Under supervision from a Certified Surgical Tech, Registered Nurse, or Physician, interns may perform both direct and indirect patient care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in surgical procedures
• Preparing operating rooms
• Supporting clinical staff to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Enrolled in an accredited Surgical Tech program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, to be obtained within ninety (90) days of start
