Surgical Technologist Intern

Role and Responsibilities: Provide hands-on assistance in operating rooms during surgical procedures, including room setup, case picking, and opening sterile items. Collaborate with experienced Surgical Technologists or Registered Nurses to hold retractors, handle instruments, or operate cameras. Assist Perioperative Support Technicians with room turnovers, terminal cleaning, and patient transport. Qualifications and Skills: Completion of the first year of an accredited surgical technologist program. Basic knowledge of surgical techniques and current Basic Life Support certification. Demonstrates manual dexterity, ability to lift and handle equipment, and physical ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat, and reach. Key Duties: Support surgical teams, ensure sterile environment, and assist with patient and room preparation to facilitate smooth procedures.
