What You'll Do

  • Assist patients with scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-up care.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and compassion.
  • Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and required documentation.
  • Provide education regarding appointments, procedures, and next steps.
  • Cookordination communication between patients, providers, and clinic teams.
  • Support prescription refill requests, referrals, and medical record requests as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
  • Resolve patient concerns or escalate issues to the appropriate team when needed.
  • Protect patient privacy by maintaining HIPAA compliance.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service during every patient interaction.

What We're Looking For

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, medical office, call center, patient services, or customer service preferred.
  • Strong communication and active listening skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and compassionate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and service.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (per ADA Guidelines)

  • Physical Activity: Standing, Walking, Stooping, Grasping, Typing, and Manual dexterity.
  • The worker is required to have visual and verbal acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds on a regular basis from floor to waist, 5 pounds from waist to shoulder, and 5 pounds from shoulder to overhead.
  • Work Environment: Professional medical office environment.
