Surgical Scheduling Coordinator - Greenville Ophthalmology Clinic
Position Summary
This position is responsible and accountable for the entry of surgeon office requests for surgery to include patient demographic and medical information. The position acts as the central contact for coordination of pre-surgical information from the surgeon office and internal departments prior to day of surgery.

Responsibilities
- Entry of surgeon office requests for surgery including patient demographic and medical information
- Central contact for coordination of pre-surgical information from surgeon office and internal departments
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of information provided to surgical teams
- Act as liaison between surgeon offices and internal departments to ensure smooth coordination of pre-surgical activities
Requirements
- Three to four years related experience
- High School or Equivalent (GED) or higher
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
