Surgical Scheduler - Urology

Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

Location: 4201 Winfield Road, Warrenville, IL and 100 S Spalding Drive, Naperville, IL
Full Time: 40 hours a week
Office Hours: Varies Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, this position is responsible for:

• Scheduling surgeries for the department.
• Collaborating with other team members to assist in problem resolution to identify the most efficient schedule.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to communicate using both written and verbal skills
• Proficiency with organizational and interpersonal skills
• Analytical skills in order to maintain and modify the scheduling module

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum of three months previous business office OR healthcare-based experience
• Previous insurance, managed care, and integrative medicine experience
• Medical terminology or coding experience
• One year of EPIC experience
• Bilingual (Spanish) helpful, but not required
