Surgical Scheduler - Urology

Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

About the role

Location: 1200 S York Street, Elmhurst, IL
Full Time: 40 hours a week
Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST.
This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgeries for the department under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other team members to assist in problem resolution and identify the most efficient schedule.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to communicate using both written and verbal skills
• Proficiency with organizational and interpersonal skills
• Analytical skills in order to maintain and modify the scheduling module

Qualifications

Preferred:

• A minimum of three months previous business office or healthcare-based experience
• Previous insurance, managed care, and integrative medicine experience
• Medical terminology or coding experience
• One year of EPIC experience
• Bilingual (Spanish) helpful, but not required
