About the role
The Surgical Scheduler will manage patient scheduling for Oneida Health's outpatient clinics and hospital.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients and referring providers in scheduling surgical procedures.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with physicians, staff, and management.
- Document work processes with attention to detail.
- Routinely coordinate processes and route paperwork to meet physician and facility requirements.
- Ensure efficient and effective telephone communication.
- Follow all written protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Surgical scheduling experience or related field.
