Surgical RN - Registered Nurse - 10,000 Sign On Bonus

Full-time position with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance offered for moves as little as 50 miles.

About the role

Our Surgery department has 12 fast-paced rooms at Waterloo Medical Center, handling cases including trauma, orthopedic, podiatry, general surgery, urology, robotics, and neurosurgery. RNs scrub, circulate, and assist.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care of patients.
• Supervise and coordinate care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
• Facilitate communication with physicians, families, and other team members.

Schedule

• Full time, 36 or 40 hours available.
• Flexible shifts: 3×12s, 4×10s, or other configurations depending on cases.
• Evening and weekend call required; must be within 30 minutes when on call.

Requirements

• Current Iowa RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• No previous experience required.
