Surgical RN - Registered Nurse - 10,000 Sign On Bonus
Full-time position with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance offered for moves as little as 50 miles.
About the role
Our Surgery department has 12 fast-paced rooms at Waterloo Medical Center. Cases include trauma, orthopedic, podiatry, general surgery, urology, robotics, and neurosurgery. RNs scrub, circulate, and assist.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care of patients.
- Supervise and coordinate care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
- Facilitate communication with physicians, families, and other team members.
Schedule
- Full-time, 36 or 40 hours available.
- Flexible shifts: 3×12s, 4×10s, etc.
- Scheduled hours depend on cases.
- Evening and weekend call required; must be within 30 minutes when on call.
Requirements
- Current Iowa RN license.
- BSN preferred.
- No previous experience required.
