Surgical / OR Tech III

About the Role

The OR Tech III collaborates with perioperative nurses to provide individualized, age-specific patient care in the operating room, ensuring safe outcomes and proper physiological responses during surgery.

Responsibilities

• Organize and assist in surgical procedures across various service lines including robotics, vascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, plastic, and trauma cases.
• Maintain a sterile environment and support team operations to facilitate patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Surgical Technician training program
• 2–3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in scrubbing for multiple service lines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and make decisions

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA)
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification (American Heart Association)
