About the role
The Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will join the Surgical Critical Care Complex (SCCC), a 22-bed unit caring for complex post-surgical patients and those with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other severe conditions.
Responsibilities
- Actively lead and participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds
- Medically manage and care for patients using approved protocols and procedures
- Design individualized management plans in collaboration with physicians, staff nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Work 7p-7a, 3 shifts per week
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant
- Acute Care NP license required, license eligible in state of Delaware
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an adult critical care setting
- Experience in managing diverse surgical and trauma critical care scenarios
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- PALS and Advanced Trauma and Life Support (ATLS) certification preferred

Pay
$121,070.00 - $150,233.00 annually
