Responsibilities
- Provide complex critical care to post-surgical and high-acuity patients, including ventilator and hemodynamic management
- Administer IV medications and titrate drips as needed
- Respond rapidly to clinical changes and emergencies
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions
- Communicate clearly with physicians and healthcare team members
- Educate patients and families about care plans and treatments
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and support quality and safety initiatives
- Precept new staff and participate in ongoing professional development
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN licensure
- Experience or knowledge in critical care nursing
- Strong assessment, communication, and clinical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and support quality initiatives
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional growth
